Greer provides tonnage, treatment path and diversion documentation per stream, supported by manifests and certificates. The point is that a diversion figure should be traceable to a document rather than to an estimate.
What we can provide
Per stream, per period, tied to the underlying records:
- Tonnage by waste stream and by treatment path
- Recovery versus destruction split, with certificates behind each
- Manifest records supporting every figure
- Certificates of destruction, treatment or recovery from the receiving facility
- Year over year comparison where the history exists
- Notes on where a figure is measured and where it is estimated
We distinguish measured from estimated figures. A report that presents both as equivalent is a report that fails the first serious audit.
What we will not do
We will not characterize energy recovery as recycling unless your reporting framework does. Frameworks differ on this and the difference is material, so it is your standard that decides rather than our preference.
We also will not supply a diversion number that the manifests do not support. In a category where a false claim is a regulatory exposure rather than a marketing risk, the documentation has to come first and the number second.
Common questions
Does fuels blending count as diversion?
EPA regulates it as energy recovery rather than disposal. Whether your framework counts that as diversion varies by standard. We report it as energy recovery and let your reporting decide how to treat it.
Can you provide data for prior years?
For the period we have handled your waste, yes, drawn from manifest records. Earlier periods would need to come from your previous vendor's records.
How often can reporting be provided?
Monthly, quarterly or annually. Most clients take quarterly, with an annual summary aligned to their reporting cycle.
