Greer Enterprises, LLC is an independent hazardous waste, medical waste, recycling and transportation company founded in 2001 and based in Mobile, Alabama. We are ISO 14001 registered with Certified Hazardous Materials Managers on staff, serving eight Southeast states.
What we actually do
We characterize industrial waste, assign its regulatory codes, move it on our own trucks, route it to a permitted facility and return the documentation proving what happened to it. That last part is the one that matters, because under RCRA the generator owns the liability from the moment waste is created until it is destroyed.
The company has been independent for twenty five years. In a sector that has consolidated heavily, that is increasingly unusual, and it is the reason the person who classifies your waste is the person who answers the phone.

The people
Staff backgrounds are in chemistry, biology, regulatory oversight, health and safety, and laboratory work. That matters because most waste problems are identification problems, and identification is a technical question rather than a logistics one.
Annual OSHA training, documented and current, applies across the operation. It is not a differentiator so much as a baseline, but it is a baseline worth stating in a category where it is occasionally missing.
How we work
- Characterize first. Guessing at a code is how a load gets rejected
- Name the treatment path on the quote, before anything is scheduled
- Price recovery alongside disposal wherever the stream supports it
- Return the documentation, including certificates of destruction, as standard
- Say so when we are not the right answer for a stream

How large is Greer?
Large enough to run our own fleet across eight states, small enough that a customer is not an account number. We are not a national consolidator and have no intention of becoming one.
What is Bio Med Solutions?
Our medical waste division, operating from the same Mobile base with its own routes across the Gulf Coast. Same company, separate specialization.
Do you work outside the Southeast?
Our permitted transport covers eight states. For generators outside that footprint, or for very low volumes, we arrange compliant shipping so the documentation is identical even where our own trucks do not run.
